5th Gen Bonanza

As most of you know there has been a 5th gen announced for the DS. All we have gotten so far is the logo, the 3 starters, some short video footage and pictures of the main characters.

Anywho post your thoughts here. I think the main characters are alright but the starters as a whole are the worst yet. Hopefully the rest of the pokemon will make up for it.

Both of the trainers actually look normal which I'm happy about. Lucas bothered me, mostly his hat, and seeming his hat is half his sprite I couldn't bring myself to pick him. If he would have had a different hat he might not have bothered me and the rival wasn't any better IMO. If the other trainer isn't the rival in this game I'll be interested in seeing how the rival looks. As for the starters they look kind of dumb but they don't look as bad as I thought they looked when the pic first came out. The grass guy looks like hes plotting something. The water guy is just blah, so my choice will either be the fire or grass most likely but it will come down to which final guy I like the best when they come out. As of right now I'd prolly just go with the fire one just because in the past I've only started with someone other than the first once and that was Piplup cause Empoleon looked cool.

The only other thing I can think of at the moment that I'd like to comment on is that Zoroark is prolly going to be banned if his ability Illusion is as good as it seems. If it isn't as good as it looks or its only that good in the event and somehow is different in a regular battle then who knows. Unless of course his stats are like Luvdisc of course.

The new legends. They have propeller thingys for tails so maybe this means they're man made, relating to how all the ingame overworld screenshots we've seen have been mostly a large city.

Both legends are pretty cool in my opinion. I like Zekrom better of the 2 though. I hope you can catch both of them no matter which game you get. If you can't I might have to get Pokemon White instead.

So someone at Pokemon Sunday slipped up and said that Zekrom was an electric type. Assuming its true, what do you think Reshiram's type will be? Something outlandish or plain like flying/dragon? The only viable outlandish (lol) type for him would probably be fire because dragons can breathe fire so he doesn't really need to be covered in fire.
